We are Sydney's award-winning, premier woodfired pizza caterer. Operating since 2011, we will expertly create an all-you-can-eat meal of hand-stretched, woodfired pizza that will delight your guests. Don’t settle for gas or electric ovens, nothing beats woodfired pizza with its subtle, smoky taste. We are one of the few mobile pizza caterers with the skill to stretch the pizzas into shape as the event runs, meaning every single pizza is as fresh, hand-made and old-fashioned as you can get in Naples.

ABOUT US
Introducing Your Team
Carlo was born in Naples under the shadow of Mt Vesuvius, surrounded by the best pizza in the world.
​
With his extended family owning over a dozen pizzerias in and around Naples, pizza is in his blood. At 14 years old, Carlo began working for his aunt in a bustling pizzeria in the heart of Naples. Established in 1945, the pizzeria is today still a busy hub, and it was here that Carlo started his apprenticeship as a “pizzaiolo” (pizza chef). The pizzaiolo is a maestro, spending years learning the traditional techniques of making the perfect pizza.

After many years working in his family’s pizza restaurants, Carlo opened his own restaurante in Naples. For ten years, he made pizza and traditional Napolitano fare for the residents and tourists until in 2003, Carlo came to Australia for a holiday and was quickly offered a working sponsorship by a Sydney-based pizza restaurant. He made Australia his new home, and in 2011 began Pizza Alfresco! In true pizzaiolo fashion, Carlo's children are now learning the ropes, too.

In 2018, Kerri came on board as our business manager and professional events planner. We cater for hundreds of events every year, customised by Kerri's extensive experience and friendly approach. In 2020, Michele joined as our second full-time pizzaiolo, who has 15 years experience as a qualified chef. Our little business is growing steadily and will continue to fill Sydneysiders to the brim for many years to come!

In 2024, we won APAC Insider's 'Best Pizza Catering Company Sydney - 2024', and in 2023, we were proud to win a top 5 spot for wedding caterers in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
